Jestina Howard has worked as a professional makeup artist for over 15 years in the areas of print, television, video, live performance and private consultations. With years of experience and tireless commitment, she is a highly sought after cosmetics professional.
Jestina is known for creating a clean, polished and stylish application focusing mainly on beauty makeup. Her creations are diverse - from the modern, natural look to the 1940’s old Hollywood glamourous look.

Her work has appeared in dozens of local, national and international trade publications, magazines, and newspapers, as well as commercials and telecasts. Some of her clients include Birmingham Magazine, People Magazine, Essence Magazine, The Food Network, Saks Inc., WBRC FOX-6, CBS Sports, MTV, Vulcan Materials, Regions Bank and Oak Street Hair Group, just to name a few. Over the years she has been a freelance regional makeup artist for such major cosmetic companies as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Lancome and Elizabeth Arden.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Jestina attends beauty trade shows in New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles to stay abreast of current makeup trends, techniques and products. She has a license from the Alabama Board of Cosmetology. She holds a certification in photography and video makeup from the Barbara Salamone Conservatory of Esthetics in Chicago, IL and a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She has attended training sessions with makeup artist to the stars, Sam Fine, author of Fine Beauty, and Emmy award-winning makeup artists Eve Pearl and Todd McIntosh.

Additionally, Jestina, a member of The Powder Group based in New York, is a media beauty spokesperson for Proctor & Gamble beauty and health products. She is also a beauty contributor for Southern Beauty Magazine and My Scoop Online Magazine.
